On Saturday, November 28th the final 2009 Bicentennial Celebration took place at Diamond Park with the Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration kicking off the holiday season.
Our Township residents were in awe of the beautiful lights on the trees along Diamond Street NE and throughout the park. They enjoyed warming up with hot chocolate while sitting around the small bonfires and listening to the joyous holiday music provided by DJ Mike Pfouts.
The crowd was dazzled by ice sculptures by Elegant Ice Creations and wood carvings by Lumberjack Chainsaw Art.
The lighting up of the beautiful Christmas tree was enjoyed by all and the children had a great time making holiday crafts and also watching Noah’s Balloon Art make balloon creations to their delight.
It was a wonderful evening enjoyed by all who attended, making our last Bicentennial Celebration the best.
