The Bicentennial Cruise-In Car Show was held on June 6, 2009 and was a huge hit! Over 1,000 people cruised in to GlenOak High School and rocked out to the oldies spun by DJ Mike Pfouts while perusing over 150 hot rods, classics, muscle cars, antiques, and motorcycles. This show had something for everyone!
Mercy Medical, a Founder Sponsor, was in attendance to provide health and safety information, free blood pressure checks, and tours of their Plain facility at the high school. Pioneer Sponsor, Rice's Nursery, was represented by Bryan Rice, who donated an elm tree to be dedicated in honor of our bicentennial.
Participants and guests cast votes for their favorite cars. Ken Stiffler, owner of a 1971 Oldsmobile 442 (below) won the coveted People’s Choice Award, while John J. Hastings, owner of a 1969 Camaro (below) took home the Owner's Choice Award.
